A Journey Rooted in Culture, Driven by Compassion

As a bilingual (English/Spanish), first-generation Hispanic clinician, I understand the importance of feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Growing up, I recognized the need for more male therapists in my community—particularly those who could provide culturally responsive care while honoring the unique experiences, values, and strengths that shape a person's identity. This understanding continues to guide my work today.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Portland State University and have experience supporting youth and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, ADHD, and autism. Over time, I found my niche working with young adults and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed by expectations, experiencing burnout, struggling with communication, or facing difficulties in their personal relationships. I also enjoy helping clients explore attachment patterns and understand how past experiences may continue to influence their current relationships and emotional well-being.

My therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I strive to create a space that is collaborative, empathetic, and empowering, while also providing thoughtful challenges when needed. I believe meaningful growth often happens when we balance self-compassion with accountability. Healing is rarely a linear process, and setbacks can provide valuable opportunities for learning, resilience, and personal growth.

Outside of therapy, I value spending time with my wife and children, staying connected to my Mexican heritage and faith, and recharging through nature and long walks. I believe that meaningful therapy is built on trust, curiosity, and authentic human connection. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build confidence, and create lasting change while honoring the unique experiences that make them who they are.
